An illustration for the 2Minds Challenge depicting my boggart… After thinking a lot about it, I came to the conclusion my biggest fear is to harm someone for a “selfish” purpose… having to choose between myself and someone innocent.

So I thought my boggart might take the shape of, for instance, a violent rabid dog. Though I never had a dog myself, I’ve always felt sorry for the animals with that disease and the stories of them being put down, so it would be a very frightening moment for me to do something against it, even as self-defense

Wow, amazing idea for a boggart. Having IRL fought to sustain the life of my 14-year-old border-collie since last summer against all kinds of professional advice to put him down, I can relate. (Doggie developed convulsive seizures after a Rabies vaccination, of all things! We're controlling them with heavy meds now, though, *cough*wolfsbane-potion, so though he's technically 'drunk' all the time, he's still well and happy.

because I grew up in a desert and as a result never want to see another bright sunny day again....
